About Oyate Teca Project
Oyate Teca Project is a non-profit organization in operation since 1991, committed to enhancing the well-being of children and families on the Pine Ridge Indian Reservation through effective programs and activities. We offer community-based engagement and empowerment for our youth. Oyate Teca provides safe and constructive school and summer enrichment programs where children and youth can engage in social and recreational activities.
Covid-19 Update
Due to the pandemic and in doing our part to keep the community safe, we aren't allowed to provide most of the activities and programs we normally do. We are very limited on our youth programming. We have been able to host our quarterly events: Easter, Halloween, Christmas, doing them in the safest way possible for the community, following all safety guidelines and precautions. We look forward to being back to our regular activities and programming when it is safest to do so.
